Optimal Outcomes completed a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center in Largo, Florida. The project was a joint venture between Optimal Outcomes and Gulfcoast Oncology Associates. Designed and constructed as a comprehensive cancer treatment center, the 24,000 square foot facility includes medical oncology, a laboratory, a PET/CT scan, and a Trilogy Linear Accelerator offering the most advanced radiation therapy. In addition to the wide array of clinical services, the facility offers patients wireless internet and computers, LCD televisions, educational areas, classes and counseling.
Through a unique ownership model Optimal Outcomes formed a partnership with Gulfcoast Oncology Associates for the acquisition, development, construction and long-term ownership of the property. Optimal located and acquired the site, obtained necessary permits, secured financing, and provided design and construction project management. Construction was completed in December of 2008 – ahead of schedule and under budget.
